Връчването на Националната награда „Христо Г. Данов“ за 2023 година съвсем естествено мина под знака на Георги Господинов и неговото „Времеубежище“. Никой и не е очаквал друго, защото това българско чудо на езика вече не е само наше и прославя литературата ни по целия свят.

В кулминацията на наградите, вече с малкия „Бухал“ в ръце, Георги Господинов развълнувано даде нов живот на известната фраза на Ницше: „Което не ме убива, ме прави писател.“ Той отправи думите си най-вече към младите, които според него трябва да бъдат насърчени: „Литературата се прави заедно. Тя е работилница, в която всички ние сме чираци. Ще ми се тази награда да даде кураж на пишещите в България, особено на младите пишещи.“

Напълно се съгласявам с тезата на Господинов, който от 23 май насам непрекъснато повтаря, че бъдещето на българския език и литература е в ръцете на младите и неговият успех отваря път пред тях, така, както той е „стъпил на раменете на гиганти“ като Вера Мутавчиева, Коста Павлов, Блага Димитрова и Валери Петров. Само така ще се получи „някакъв поврат, някаква нова крачка към нещо, което дава някакъв смисъл. И което литературата го може най-добре – да създава общество, защото общество идва от общуване“, казва писателят. И бъдещето е в омастилените думи и послания, които имат силата да въздействат, да променят, имат силата да прекосяват света.

Това прекосяване се случи и на книгата „Времеубежище“, която донесе на Георги Господинов и преводача му Анджела Родел Международния „Букър“.

Изкусното умение да превеждаш на друг език и да пресъздаваш необходимия смисъл и емоция е задача с повишена трудност, която бе успешно решена от отличения с награда за „Преводач на художествена литература“ Кирил Кадийски за превода на книгата „Ад“ на Данте Алигери от издателство „Колибри“.

Сито за качествена българска литература представлява и българската библиотека, а награда за „Библиотечно дело“ получи Регионална библиотека „Сава Доброплодни“ – гр. Сливен.

За да достигне една книга до библиотеката обаче, най-напред трябва да бъде издадена. Издателство „Фама“ оглави първото място в категория „Българско издателство“.

От изключително значение за погледа на читателя е естетиката в оформлението на дадена книга. Заради невероятните си художествени умения, изобразени в книгата „Роди се Младенец“ на издателство „ Колибри“, Тоня Горанова получи статуетката, връчена в категория „Художник или дизайн и оформление на книга.“

Когато споменаваме илюстрации, няма как да пропуснем детската книга. В нея образите оживяват в мига, щом бъде разгърната. Юлия Спиридонова спечели наградата за „Автор на издание за деца“ с детската книга „Сянката на Щуреца“ на издателска къща „Кръгозор“.

Има и случаи, в които българската художествена литература рисува чудновати образи с всеки ред и дума. Наградата за „Автор на българска художествена литература“ бе получена от Николай Терзийски за неговата книга „Звезди по клепачите“ на издателство „Жанет 45“.

Напълно подкрепям думите на Георги Господинов, че литературата създава общество и именно тя прави общуването възможно, а наградата за „Автор в областта на хуманитаристиката” получи проф. Боянка Арнаудова за книгата „Златният век на българската опера“ на издателство „Лист“.

Неяснота и смут пробуди у присъстващите,  както и у водещия на церемонията доц. д-р Борис Минков, липсата на номинация в категория „Представяне на българската книга”. Тази празнина бе творчески запълнена от представителите на музикалното изкуство Дуо „Грациозо“ – Златина Георгиева (флейта) и София Колева (арфа), които озвучиха залата с приказна мелодия.

В заключение най-точно звучат думите на новия министър на културата Кръстьо Кръстев: „Дължим много на пишещите хора и на всички, ангажирани в процеса на издаване и популяризиране на книгите. Те са нашето минало, настояще и бъдеще, събрано между кориците на „тук“ и „сега“. Нашето постоянно търсено бягство и убежище във времето.“
