Министерство на културата и местната власт имат лостове да противодействат на тези унищожения, но имат ли желание?

Разочарование и тъга за загубата на красотата и историята на Пловдив предизвиква всяка съборена красива стара къща. Горе-долу през месец научаваме за поредния инвеститор, който унищожава някоя красавица, оцеляла 100 години, но не и съвремието. Сякаш свикваме с тази ежемесечна сводка на загубата на пловдивската история – а насреща друга група хора принизява това заличаване, част от тях хора без интереси в сферата, а за съжаление, част от тях арихтекти без достатъчно естетическа и историческа култура.

Именно културният въпрос е тъжният, тъй като всички тези разрушения най-често се случват напълно законно (изключваме обичайните неща, като липса на обезопаснителни средства за работниците, липса на информационни табели и ужасяващата мръсотия, която оставят около улиците тези разрушители – което нито отговорните институции следят, нито се вълнуват, освен, ако не се вдигне много шум). А когато всичко е законно, тези унищожения лежат на ниската култура и отрицателно отношение към града на инвеститори и проектанти. Тяхната свободна воля е да бъдат варвари.

Такъв, напълно законен, е и поредният случай с къщата на улица „Йосиф Шнитер“. Къща, по всяка вероятност в съвсем адекватно структурно състояние, чиито компрометирани части могат да се ремонтират без унищожаване на цялата сграда, се разрушава с легендарния „План за безопасност“, издаден от централна община.

Имотът на сграда попада в защитената зона на центъра, но самата постройка няма никакъв статут и съответно защита от НИНКН. По данни на „Под тепето“ проектът им е съгласуван с института за паметници на културата, каквото задължение имат, но новата постройка ще се различава съществено от историческата къща. Самият проект стъпва на устройствен план още от 2005 година. Отдавна заложени „бомби“ за унищожаването на културата на града.

Опасна ли е все пак сградата?
